What specifically do you practice?

Are you raising your son to believe in the same things, or are you just not telling him specifically about any one religion until he asks you one day?

well i practice Lavey's brand of satanism where satan isn't a person it is a figure of the forbidden where as god says turn the other cheek satan is more for revenge against the person so they won't do said action again also the brand of satanism i practice we believe we are our own gods what i mean by that is we control what we do in our lives we don't throw it up in the air and hope something happens we make it happen.

as to my son what his religion will be is his own choice his mother is Mormon (kinda) and his father is a satanist his one set of grand parents are mormon where as my parents are catholic and Lutheran or Nazarene one of the two he will be free to chose what god if any he wants to follow

I just don't see why if you choose to worship something/someone that you choose to worship the one being that causes a lot of evil in the world.

it isn't the being that i follow it is the actions. people are given the choice to do what they wish and most Christians i know have satanic traits where as the satanist that i know live for them selves but also will help their friends or family most satanist have a core group of friends their inner circle if you will the ones that know their likes their dislikes. in my circle i have mainly christian friends i have been told that i am the nicest satanist people have met truth is i am probably the first one who stands up and says he is and actually knows what he is talking about.

also i don't worship anything but myself. satanism and devil worship are two different things devil worship is just that worshiping a creature from a fable who has wicked tendencies this is your typical rock and roller person the first to throw up the horns but not take it to hart.

Satanism is a will power thing perfect for those who like to be in control (like myself) we learn the forbidden knowledge and use it in our own ways.

also think on this, if your a father with two sons the one is a tad bad and thinks the father should share his power and when he doesn't he tries to overthrow said father but gets cast out of his home then years later the father has a second son with whom he shares his power how do you think the first son would feel that the father would not share with his first son but would gladly give it to the second.

to me the idea of lucifer, satan, whatever you wish to call him he is a scorned and forgotten child trying to make the father remember he was there first
